Yoga cOMunity

I wanted to share a fun evening and memory in my yoga cOMunity (still can't believe I am part of a bigger yoga cOMunity in the sense that I am a teacher)! In early January the Tranquil Space yoga teachers gathered for an evening of practice, 2011 flashbacks and intention setting for 2012....and how can I forget, munching on some YUMMY snacks and mingling among teachers. I think in the yoga community this would be considered a satsang, a sanskrit word that means, being in the company of like-minded people sharing and discussing about 'truth'.

It's amazing, from the 30 or so of us there, many of whom I know, practiced with or went through teacher training side by side, or learned from....and many of whom this night was my first time meeting...it was such a blast to talk about something other than 'great yoga class'.

This is my first year being part of the Tranquil Space cOMunity, and it was amazing to be among a group of individuals with so much excitement and passion towards creating an amazing experience for yoga students, with each of us yearning to serve in different ways, and yet all with the same goal and respect for each other.

You'd think yoga teachers all look alike from the recent media....but in reality we are all unique and diverse.

The last thing of the evening was a question we were asked to contemplate ~svadyaya~ with our own self study.........................
What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

So, I leave you with the same question, and wish you a journey of satsang in your own cOMmunity.

P.S....I can't take credit for sticking the word OM in any other word where possible...that is something that Tranquil Space does...and it's just fun, so decided to spread the OMing via written form. :)
