Teacher Feature @ Tranquil Space

I am honored and excited to be teaching at Tranquil Space yoga studio in Dupont Circle, DC. It truly is a tranquil space to just be in the moment, practice, let go of the distractions of the city, relax with a cup of tea and nibble on a cookie, mingle with your mat-neighbor if you so choose to before or after class, be inspired by the smells of lavender and touched by teachers not only physically with amazing assists, but also by the quality of their class sequencing and sense of purpose, intention and creativity instilled through the yoga class.

It is my honor to be a featured this month at Tranquil Space. For the teacher feature we are to divulge some of our favorites...as well as provide a childhood picture of ourselves. I was so excited about providing the childhood picture, because I am lucky enough to have a PA (aka dad) who loved to play with photography, different cameras, lenses, styles, etc; when I was growing up. It was hard to choose which picture....but I went with this one because of the cute ponytails I'm sure my mom styled for me and the sunny background (I believe this was on my first day of 1st grade)!

Check out the feature here for answers to these questions.....

  • My favorite part of teaching yoga
  • Where I grew up
  • My top 3 hobbies currently
  • Favorite piece of art
  • Favorite Food
  • Favorite Quote
  • Favorite restaurant in DC
  • Favorite yoga pose
  • Favorite holiday
~ A special thanks to Tranquil Space teachers, students and all of the staff for building a beautiful cOMmunity and I'm super happy to be a part of it! ~

  1. I've been thinking of enrolling in yoga classes Perth. I didn't know you did all kinds of activities there, not just traditional yoga poses. Reading this post encouraged me to try!
