Each month I begin with taking a peak at my calendar. I ask myself what have I already committed myself to in addition to my 9-5. Usually, I find that the majority of my month is already consumed with plans of teaching yoga and special visits or events with friends and family.
This aligns, as my top priorities on a day to day basis is my husband, yoga, family, friends and work. So...what to do with any extra spare valuable time? This reminds me of the Big Rock Principle. Where my husband, yoga, family, work are my BIG ROCKS....and everything else is the SAND that fills in the at extra spare time. I've you've never heard of this BIG Rock principle, check out this post which does an excellent job of explaining....great way to identify what is most important in your life.
