...I know, it's a little bit cliche, tea sayings are all the rave amongst the mindful, yogi, hipster world I happily surround myself with on facebook & instagram. BUT, there is something to be said about being mindful enough to take a peak and savor a thoughtful tea saying for a few moments.
I've been on a bit of an unplanned summer hiatus from blog writing, other than to update you on upcoming Inspirational Book Club events or Super Important Yoga announcements. I've struggled, as I'm sure many of you do with the balance of living life fully.
Although I never blogged everyday, I was getting to the point that more frequently than not...each inspiring picture I took, moment or interaction I had with another person....I would think through how it could become a blog post (or yoga class theme) or both...sometimes I'd think through the post, but then never actually share it...or I'd spend too long stuck in a writer's block of sorts. It seemed easier to just stop writing for a bit and use the hiatus as opportunity to fully embrace the beauty of the summer.
I don't want to live my life in order to blog about it. I want to Live!
Yet...I also have a yearning to share...so I continue to work on the balance of living, playing, working, sharing & being heard. I've had so many ideas swirling in my mind about yoga, teaching, living healthy & mindfully ..... Tonight's tea saying is the perfect inspiration to kick-off a series of new posts!

ReplyDeleteI am new to yoga, have been having a recurring bad dream for the past few nights. I need some advice on how to deal with situations in my life so I can be happy and calm. If you wouldn't mind checking out my blog and commenting I would be grateful. It only has one post- I just woke up and knew I had to get it off my mind. http://ericalaneyoga.blogspot.com/
