I'm already into Chapter 4 of this book and I am LEARNING so much!!! It can be a bit daunting at over 300 pages, which some complicated terminology - I think most can be understood with the context of the sentence/paragraph. As a vegetarian, I've read quite a bit of books, articles, etc on nutrition and food...but this book has equipped me with so much more information than I expected and I'm only on page 82. I highly recommend! Join us on November 5th for the in person discussion at Shine.

Book Description:
A national bestseller that has changed the way readers view the ecology of eating, this revolutionary book by award winner Michael Pollan asks the seemingly simple question: What should we have for dinner? Tracing from source to table each of the food chains that sustain us -- whether industrial or organic, alternative or processed -- he develops a portrait of the American way of eating.
