Thankful for the Child Within

The holidays always brings out the child within me, the inner soul who wants to play with glue guns, ribbon, markers and crayons...the creative crafty spirit! Here are a few ideas to get your crafty spirit glowing this holiday season.

  1. Hey there... Lots of good crafting memories. Remember when we used to anticipate the monthly projects we had sent to our house? We'd look them all over, pick one or two to do, and then put them safely away in our binder for future reference! Oh, and the Christmas package decorating competition...who had the best MOJO ? !! (I always did :-)
    And, of course, who could forget the paper mache dog? ... or, was it a horse? LOL Which, by the way, I still have 'somewhere' ! Yes, you definitely were a creative little crafter...seems like the older you get the more crafting flair you have. So, I think it's about time for you to share all that crafting skill (in person) with 'someone'...like perhaps a grandchild!! Just a not-so-subtle little hint from mom! I figure Grandma Margot isn't here to nag you, so I'll take over! I love you LOTS!

    1. Mom ~ of course it was a paper mache dog! :) ....and I think I had quite a few years of winning the mojo contest! Something that will live on for generations to come.
