Union of Yoga & Corporate Career: Story of Re-defining Success

Meet Angelyn, of New Beginnings Yoga, a beautiful yogini who I met in advanced yoga teacher training while living in Washington D.C. Her presence was always soft and elegant, she had a way with her words where they seemed to float and dance across the yogi's movements like magic. I'm honored she thought of me for her Trailblazers series, where she features someone to "share the stories of women and men who have taken bold steps to create the life they love. We learn so much through the example of others, and it can often provide the impetus we need to move forward toward our own goals and dreams."

If you are in D.C., you should definitely stop in to experience one of Angelyn's classes, if you are not local to D.C, then reading her beautiful inspirational writing will be magical, I promise.

What I hope to be insightful answers to the following questions are shared on her blog. I have to admit, when Angelyn posed these interview questions they definitely were much more difficult to resound to (concisely) than I expected - excellent, thought provoking reflections you may also want to ponder.

  • How did you know it was time to make a change?
  • What gave you the confidence to move forward?
  • Who/What inspires you today?
  • What are you dreaming about now?
  • What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
  • What do you know now that you wish you would have known when you started?
  • What encouragements can you offer to someone who wants to make a change but is apprehensive?
What have you done lately to be a trailblazer?

" It is true how YOGA can change ones life. It helps a lot in achieving the balance of life and makes our life worth living and stress free.
