As part of teacher training we are encouraged to share yoga through karma activities, such as providing yoga for free to communities who may not be able to afford it or who can not access it as easily, or through fundraising type events.
A group of 6 teachers-in-training from the Tranquil Space Teacher Training, who have all practiced yoga for several years are hosting a fundraising benefit for the Tahirih Justice Center on March 31, 2011.
We have been working very hard to develop our sequence, create a wonderful play list of music, as well as coordinate with various yoga studios/vendors to provide 'goodie-bags' for those attending.
We hope to see you there for this amazing experience!
