The Yoga Poster
Another teacher recently shared a link regarding the yoga poster project; with my curiosity about anything and everything yoga related, I had to check it out. To find out, it really is such a great idea!
This couple from Portland, karoline and frank neville-hamilton decided to de-mystify yoga history, yoga poses, different types of yoga, meditation, really all things yoga related in one visual aid. I don’t know about you, but I’m a visual learner; pictures & diagrams really help send home the message.

I normally don’t give money away freely, especially for yoga related items (because I already own sooo many books from teacher trainings and because there are sooo many free resources available online. However,
I thought this was such a unique approach to yoga history, and something that
I’m sure I will glean tons of insight from….in addition to helping me understand
and frame yoga history in a way that’s understandable and transferable to my students.

Whether a student or a teacher….you may find this poster a super
helpful resource. There is only a day left to contribute to the project via Kickstarter, if you donate today you will not only get the poster but depending on how much you donate, they have other fun gifts. If you miss the deadline to contribute via kickstarter, they will be selling the poster on theyogaposter.com. More information and a fun video about the project is on Kickstarter and a featured article in yoga journal and elephant journal.
