This past Monday was our 1 month anniversary of moving to Louisville. Usually during big life changes things are such a whirlwind it can become hard to be in the moment, enjoy the change, live in the new environment as we often are caught up in trying to survive, get things done, be productive, start a new business/career, establish new routines.
It's not ironic now that I think about that this month as I've had the opportunity to sub a few yoga classes; I've been drawn to a theme to begin each class with a quote I came across a few months back.
~ We are human BEings, not human DOings ~
This month has been FULL of DOing things, however having this theme not only for my students but also for myself, even if subconsciously, it was ingrained in my heart, grounding me during this crazy time of transition.

Our 1st Louisville month was full of lots of DOings, but I am happy to say that so many of them hold a special place in my heart because I tried to take the opportunity to BE still with each moment even if for just a moment.
A moment of reflection can help to put a whirlwind in perspective.
