I came across this quote while perusing Pinterest and although it's a bit blunt, it is true. I try to wake up early every morning to go to the gym. Some days I'm able to wake up early enough to get a good hour workout in, others maybe only 20 minutes and some days I just go into the gym and stretch a bit before showering.
I always feel better both physically and mentally when I'm able to do some form of physical activity in the day and when I can make it happen first thing in the morning it sets the day off on the right foot.
That being said, there are those evenings where I stay up too late socializing, reading, watching TV, writing blog posts, cleaning..etc.....which always has a detrimental impact on my morning exercise routine. A few things I always need to remind myself of:
- There is always an opportunity to work out during lunch or after work
- Even just a few minutes can have a drastic impact on the rest of your day
- Tomorrow is an opportunity for a new start
So....set your alarm clocks with me for a morning cup of exercise! Monday morning is the perfect opportunity to set the tone for the week.

On average, I try to get 30 minutes of exercise a day. Unless I'm off work, though, I workout in the evening. It's become part of my daily ritual, and I consider it essential self-care. :) T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com
