Splurge Worthy ~ May Infatuations

Have you ever found something that you think is so cool, you just felt obligated to share with others?

It's like when you get a compliment on a recent clothing purchase and you just HAVE to tell them that you bought it on discount.

This is the premise behind today's blog post (& likely future posts)...I feel compelled to share things I've come across that I've found useful or am just completely infatuated with. Note, this blog is currently created purely out of fun and is not sponsored by any entity, so I really am sharing these tips with you just because I am truly infatuated with these items and I have the urge to share. :)

Adorable smart cars that you can pick up at any location in the city, drive to your destination and leave anywhere in the city. No need to worry about paying the meter or parking in a zone, as the Car2Go cars have a unique pass allowing them to be parked practically anywhere in the city (except of course illegally like by a fire hydrant)! This is a great deal, especially as cab prices are rising in DC. They are relatively new to the U.S., popping up in Portland, San Diego and Austin; in addition to all over Europe.

YogiTunes
GREAT resource for yoga music; for teachers or students looking for music to enhance your practice. If you sign up for their mailing list they also have special opportunities about once a week for free music downloads. I've enjoyed the FREE music downloads offered, most of which have made it into my class playlists!

On those days I can't seem to make it to the studio for a yoga class, which is most days, I enjoy knowing I can come home and still have a GREAT practice taught by outstanding teachers such as; Elena Bower, Kathryn Budig & Jason Crandell, to name a few. What I absolutely LOVE about this site is that you can pick how many minutes you are interested in practicing 20, 30, 40, 60, or longer; & you can pick what style you are looking for, vinyasa, restorative, yin, beginner, advanced, etc. You can absolutely tailor the class to your needs.
For only $18 a month, it is a super awesome deal. (plus they have a FREE 15 day trial)

I've mentioned Zobha once before on the blog, and recently I purchased a new pair of cropped pants from them, mostly because it's spring time and I was wanting a fun bright color to liven up my yoga practice and walking experiences. They are comfortable and fun (It's the hot pink color) :)

Some Non-Splurge, but complete Worthy things I'm Loving lately:

* 20 - 30 minutes of an evening soothing & a bit restorative yoga practice
* Leaving my desk during lunch for a walk or popping into the gym to practice yoga
