Since graduating advanced teacher training, I've accumulated Many...Many yoga books. Most of them are specific to the physical practice of yoga, alignment or sequencing and many of them are a combination of yoga philosophy and spirituality.... I have to admit I've been CRAVING a fiction book....but somehow I continue to draw myself to the yoga section of bookstore and Amazon.
So, when I came across Downward Dog Upward Fog, a book that seeming combined yoga, spirituality, fashion, self discovery...written as a novel...I was sold. I'm about 80% complete with the book (according to my new electronic reading gadget that I am still getting use to...but it makes flipping the pages of the book so much fun!).
Reviews of this book that I would completely agree with so far:
"Lorna's soul journey is the topic of Meryl Davids Landau's first novel, an inspirational gem that will appeal to introspective, evolving women."
—ForeWord Reviews
"A lighthearted novel about a woman who just can't seem to stay on the spiritual path, something most of us can relate to."
—Yoga Journal Buzz Blog
"Women who loved Eat, Pray, Love have been hoping for another page-turner that reflects their spiritual goals... Meryl Davids Landau fills the void."
—Natural Awakenings magazine
"Told with humor and sensitivity, Lorna's struggles are sure to resonate with anyone on the path of conscious awareness.”
—Science of Mind National Newsletter
