#MYYOGA Month

Although every month is full of yoga....if you follow me on twitter, Facebook or Instagram you may have been inundated with selfie yoga pictures the past 28 days. February was #MyYoga Month.

I ventured into #MyYoga month as an opportunity to share some of my real, day-to-day actual yoga tips for personal practice. In retrospect, my commitment to you, helped me practice yoga everyday of February in some fashion. A win win for all!

Although I did not blog post everyday this month....I "posted" a yoga pose on my body everyday...and really that's all that matters. Show up for yourself! Yoga for one minute, one hour....or for a day of mindful breathing and eating! Have you had a chance to think about what #YourYoga is?

This #MyYoga month I learned....

...It is possible to make time for 5 to 10 minutes of yoga every morning or evening, maybe even in front of the TV

...Just one yoga pose counts

...BREATHE at your desk at work, in the car sitting in traffic, as you are waiting in line during and during a frustrating experience

...Full on yoga classes led by a teacher, in person or via podcast...are TOTALLY worth it!!

...Practice with a partner...it adds a whole new perspective full of compassion & trust

...Hands on assists from real physical teachers ROCK! They can transform a practice

...Practice, PRACTICE, practice.....It really WORKS!

...I really enjoyed doing a few minutes of stretching yoga after working out. Yummy Cross Training! Actually...this was probably my biggest take-a-way. Stretching feels SOOO GOOD! As a recent CrossFit yoga student put it.... 'It hurts oh so good'.

...Mediation is much easier after movement

...Beach yoga....it really is a wonderful experience full of Beach Lessons

....Roll out of bed, practice in your pajamas! Why not?!?!

...It's super fun to experiment with self i-phone-agraaphy! Try it out. Smart phone users, search for a Timer photo app. I have been using TimerCam. If you have any other photo recommendations, I would love to hear about them.

...It's OK, Give yourself permission to slow down & relax!

What are some of your favorite #YourYoga moments? How do you keep you yoga practice exciting and fresh? Would love to hear your thoughts!
